Peanut is going to be 1 month old next week.

My brother and his family are driving up from NC around the 26th.

It's summer time.

I'm going camping this weekend.

I ordered more yarn from KnitPicks.

I have a baby shower to go to next week.

Porch knitting starts in earnest next weekend.

I bought an Empire State Pass so now I can go to the beach.

Life is good.

LIFE IS GOOD!!!

I've been holding out on this for about two weeks now and I just got the okay to let the cat out of the bag. On Monday, October 8 I came home to find my brother Joey and his girlfriend Nadine at the house. There was a beautiful bouquet of flowers for me with this attached to it:

Ladies and Gentlemen, I give you my future Niece/Nephew, Peanut! We are all besides ourselves with excitement. I've pulled out all my baby patterns and am going to try knitting the EZ Baby Surprise Jacket.
