Cabin Cove

One of my favorite blogs is Dave Daniels Cabin Cove. I check it compulsively. I just happen to think he is such an amazing person. He's funny and is so talented in what he does. He's a great photographer, knitter, spinner, quilter, woodworker... in fact, it seems to me that whatever he does, he does with much love and care. He's also a really nice guy. I was thrilled the first time he responded to a comment I left on his blog and even more thrilled when he left a comment on mine. I've never met him, but he really seems like such a genuine gentleman and I am honored to know him (don't blush Dave, 'tis all true). Unfortunately, he's had some problems and his blog is now private. It's such a shame that the general public cannot enjoy him freely anymore. But neither can I imagine the events that led him to do this. If you wish to view his blog, go to my side bar where his link is. There will be instructions there on how to reach him. If I find out that anyone who gets to him through me does anything underhanded in any way, I will weed you out the same way he has by making my site private too. This crap has got to stop.

That's it, end of story....

OH, and momentous occasion has occurred in the family. One of my beautiful nephew's lost his first baby tooth! Woohoo! Way to go Matthew!

(Don't you just love all those freckles?!!)

I'm miserable that I can't read Dave's blog anymore. He doesn't know me, but I've been a fan. I adopted a 10 year old white cat (with green eyes)several years ago and Dave's descriptions of Miss Lulu Kitty's fragility and sass have always charmed me. There's so much more I enjoyed about his blog, but I won't go on...and on. I'll miss you, Dave!
