More hats....

So, a few weeks ago a friend of mine (Helen of Troy) suggested I try knitting the Sunflower Tam from Knitting Nature. Well, I mulled it over, and wasn't sure if I wanted to buy the whole damn book just for one pattern. Well, I must say that pertty much all the patterns are beautiful. Whether I'll knit them all or not is up for doubtful but it's nice to know the possiblities are there. So, here's my tam.

I used a different color for the top because I was running out of yarn.

I think it came out rather nice.
Now I'm off to sew the sequins into mom Koolhaas hat that I finally finished.

beautiful job!

and yes, that book is filled with beautiful patterns.. and while i have a few quibles with the editors, they designs are wonderful.

they flow, and seem at times to be difficult to knit, but they make you think a bit, and then, once thought out, they are wonderful and flow and almost knit them selves!

(and every version of the hat its prettier than the next! that's a beautiful blue.)
