Catching Up

Well, I haven't been blogging much but now that the summer is over, hopefully I will be. It's been a busy few months and it looks like things aren't going to let up any time soon. I'll put it into these terms; I get paid twice a month so for me, there are 6 paychecks till Christmas. How scary is that? I have to say though, as much as I love the summer and I truly do, I think Fall is probably my favorite time of year. I love the turning of the leaves and all the holiday's that are coming up. I love to decorate for Halloween, Thanksgiving and most of all Christmas. I love the cooler weather so I can wear all my cool scarves and the funky hat my friend made for me last year.
So, today after work I grabbed a book, my sock and my IPod and to Jones Beach. There weren't too many people. Check out the sunset they missed:

And these were taken with my cell phone! I love the way the beach looks at night too. I don't know what it is, but I get a little scared. Even though it's the same old beach as during the day, it looks much wilder at night. There was some sort of photo shoot going on down by the shore. I'm surprised they weren't asked to leave. You usually are after sunset. Maybe they had a permit to be there. I stayed as long as I could because I wanted to see who they were, but it was getting a little late and I wanted to get home.

Well, I am off to finish the cuff on my toe up sock.

I am having so much fun knitting it, I am looking forward to starting the other so I can wear the pair. Then I am going to practice making one sock on two circular needles, one sock using the magic loop method, then I am going to decide which method I like best and knit up a pair of socks with my Noro Sock Yarn! Can you say OOOOO, AAAHHH!!!

Your sock looks great! I think you should do 2 socks on one circ for the Noro...

That noro is beautiful. I recently got some noro and I'm having trouble deciding what I want to do with it, it's so pretty.
